Repeat Please…. Battle Of Britain
A great bit of levity in the midst of this amazing movie
WWII Era cartoon – Bugs Bunny – Falling Hare (1943)
Falling Hare is a 1943 Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Robert Clampett, starring Bugs Bunny. The title is another play on words. The word “hair” and “hare”. As “falling hair” refers to impending baldness, while in this cartoon’s climax, the title turns out to be descriptive of Bugs’ situation(a hare falling/crashing to earth).

Battle of Britain Film – “Behind the Scenes” Footage
Some “behind the scenes” 8mm film shot by an observer of the shooting of the Battle of Britain Movie in 1968. Filming at RAF Duxford, RAF North Weald, San Sebastian & Seville. Shots of Spitfires, Hurricanes, Messerschmitt ME109’s & Heinkel Bombers (Spanish Air Force). Plenty of explosions!
